Most kids who have made it to division or multiplicationare able to complete those sections too. The kids love coming up to me and tellingme their new status. Then you touch the value of acoin. Each time you do something correct you get a coin in your piggie bank. There isa memory match game with coins and their amounts. You then buy objects by draggingthe exact amount of money into the box. The full version has: words, matching, add itup, compare value, sequences, pay for items, make change, and patterns. The kidsthen buy food in a story with the money they earned. This is a great app that I wouldlike to use when we are studying money. I wonder if letting the kids use this app duringfree time will make our money unit go more smoothly.IXL Math Practice - Free

They have to pass multiple layersin different skills sets. It includes addition, subtraction & mixed 1 in the free version.The full version adds multiplication, division, arithmetic, geometry, fractions, powers,statistics, equations, and mixed 2. It is a multiple choice format. If you miss too many,you must complete the level over again. You can havemultiple users on the one app. It keeps track of the scores on all the past tests thestudent has taken. You can have the test give instant feedback or not. An equationabove a number keyboard pops up and the student enters the answer. When you aredone with the test it shows you each problem. The ones you got correct are green andthe ones you got wrong are red.You can go back and fix the red ones. You have to pushthe "turn in the test" button to make the timer stop and give you a score. You can emailor print the score. You can change the number range for the questions and how manyquestions are on each test. You can turn the timer on or off. This is a great app. Thepaid version has subtraction, multiplication, and division. This app is clean and simple,no fluff. The full version has a fun penguin character and more options for setup.
